Attention impairment in rolandic epilepsy: Systematic review

This research paper reviews multiple studies conducted on attention deficits or impairments in children with Rolandic epilepsy (RE). This article provides an analysis of the impairment of all 3 attention systems in the brain and how this can affect cognitive function, such as reading ability and phonemic awareness. This paper focuses on the issues occurring within the study of attention networks in RE children and the ever-growing necessity for more suitable and effective assessment tools.
